Back on the topic of manipulating photos, in the darkroom days I would burn and dodge the images to emphasize and guide the viewer to the best part of the image or at least my focus of the image.
This image has some Photoshop work but not in the key part of the image(the Flower) where typically two images would be combined to create the final effect. This image was captured with the flower as part of the original picture.
I leave it to the viewer to speculate on how the flower became part of the image. I imagine a contest would be fun but since the current scope of this blog is probably less than 20 viewers that randomly arrive here we will just leave open the comments section to see if speculation will prevail.
